Anime Zero Tier List: Best Weapons, Traits and Accessories
Published Anime Zero tier lists (Oct 11–12, 2026) agree on the top: S tier = Shadow Monarch, Flame Director and Cataclysm (all Lyth). A tier = Mochi Commander, Cursed King and Immortal Sovereign; Cursed King is the best non-Lyth damage pick. Epic starters Cosmic Warrior and Thunder Prodigy sit at the bottom. The usual best build is Shadow Monarch + Flame Director with the Deadeye trait (or Supernova for speedruns) and Blast Archer Crown + Blast Archer Wings. The three new Update 3 (Void Arbiter) Lyths (Blue Flame Heir, Eternal Archmage, Starlight Diva) are too new to rank reliably; guides disagree on them. We don't invent rankings: this page shows where the lists agree, where they differ, and the in-game numbers behind them.

We compared three independent tier lists published October 11–12, 2026. Where they agree, the tier is shown plainly. Where they differ, we say so. Weapons are also called units, characters or classes in Anime Zero; you equip two and switch during a run.

Update 3 Lyths (unranked): Update 3, "Void Arbiter" (October 11, 2026), added a new Trials mode (some guides spell it "Trails") with three new Lyth weapons: Blue Flame Heir (Rin Okumura), Eternal Archmage (Frieren) and Starlight Diva (Astra Yao). Patches on October 12–13 kept adjusting Trials. One guide already ranks the new Lyths above everything; two others leave them unranked because their drop rates and kit stats haven't been published. We keep them unranked until the numbers are out.

Stat caps: 60% crit chance, 275% crit damage, 40% cooldown reduction. Stacking past a cap does nothing.
Weapon synergy bonuses
Equipping both weapons of a named pair gives a bonus; any other pair gives +5% damage.

A named synergy is small next to the gap between tiers: Shadow Monarch + Flame Director only gets the generic +5%, and it's still the top pair.

The lists differ slightly lower down (Hunter is B in one list and C in another; Vitality C or D), but they agree on Deadeye and Supernova at the top, Ferocity and Sniper next, and Fortune as the farming trait.
