AION 2 Classes: Cleric, Sorcerer and Assassin Builds (Roles & Systems)
AION 2 (NC, free-to-play on Steam since October 5, 2026) ships eight Global classes. Searchers looking for an AION 2 Cleric build, Sorcerer build or Assassin build should start with role and progression systems, not a copied rotation: Cleric is the primary healer (mace), Sorcerer is ranged magic DPS (spellbook), Assassin is melee burst DPS (dagger). Skills split into Mastery (Active + Passive, Skill Points, free resets) and Stigma (class-defining skills powered by Stigma Points / Stigma Shards). Patches change balance — verify numbers in your client and official NC notices; we do not invent PvE/PvP macros or stigma tier lists.
What this page covers (and what it does not)
This Gamecodely hub answers AION 2 Cleric build, AION 2 Sorcerer build and AION 2 Assassin build queries with verified role and progression facts. It does not publish unverified “best” stigma loadouts, gear spreadsheets or skill macros. Meta shifts after class-care patches; treat any third-party rotation as temporary and re-check in-game.

The eight Global classes
NC’s Global service lists eight playable classes. Community and guidebook summaries group them by role:
| Class | Typical role | Main-hand weapon (community / client consensus) |
|---|---|---|
| Templar | Main tank | Longsword |
| Gladiator | Bruiser / off-tank | Greatsword |
| Assassin | Melee DPS | Dagger |
| Ranger | Ranged physical DPS | Bow |
| Sorcerer | Ranged magic DPS | Spellbook |
| Spiritmaster | Summoner / magic DPS | Orb |
| Cleric | Primary healer | Mace |
| Chanter | Hybrid support | Staff |
Every class is available to both factions and either gender on Global. Pick by the party role you want to play for weeks, not by a week-one tier graphic.
How skills work (official beginner guide)
NC’s PURPLE Lounge Skill Guide for Beginners (posted October 5, 2026) is the authoritative overview of progression. Summary:
Mastery skills (Active + Passive)
- You earn Skill Points by leveling and by using Wisdom Stones.
- Skill Points can be reset and reallocated at no cost.
- Reaching certain skill levels unlocks Skill Specializations (extra power or a different skill behaviour).
- Skills can be raised to Level 10 with Skill Points. From Level 11 onward, extra levels come from Daevanion Nodes, Arcana (Transcendence dungeons) and Soul Binding options on equipment.
Stigma skills
- Stigma skills are the class-defining kit.
- Some Stigma Points come from leveling; more come from Stigma Shards.
- Independent client references commonly list 13 Stigma skills per class, unlocking around character level 22, with their own 1–20 level track (separate from Mastery Skill Points). Slot counts and caps can change by region/patch — confirm in your client.
Practical build advice that stays true without fabricating a meta:
- Push core Mastery skills that define your role (heals for Cleric, burst/control for Sorcerer, opener tools for Assassin).
- Open Stigma slots when Ascension / level gates allow, then invest shards into stigmas that match the content you actually run (PvE party vs open-world vs PvP).
- Use free Mastery resets after a patch instead of copying an outdated screenshot.
- Only add Daevanion / Arcana / Soul Binding levels after the Level 10 Mastery floor is solid.
Cleric build focus (healer)
Cleric is AION 2’s dedicated healer/support priest. NC materials describe a sacred healer who protects allies and mends wounds. Search intent for aion 2 cleric build is usually: which heals to prioritise, which stigmas to socket, and how to spend skill points for PvE or PvP.
What we can state without inventing a rotation:
- Role: primary party healer — direct heals, HoTs, cleanses and resurrection tools sit in the Mastery/Stigma kit across regional guidebooks.
- Weapon: mace (client / NC character-page consensus).
- Build loop: invest Mastery points into reliable party heals and cleanses first → unlock Stigma slots → socket stigmas that add group regeneration, cleanse, immunity windows or resurrection (names and coefficients differ by client language; read the tooltip in yours).
- Soft constraint: we will not list a fake “best PvE stigma set” or heal rotation. After each class-care patch, re-read stigmas in-game and official update notes.
If you are new to healing MMOs, Cleric is a strong first pick for group content once you understand interrupt/cleanse timing — learn that in dungeons, not from an unverified macro paste.
Sorcerer build focus (magic DPS)
Sorcerer is the ranged magic damage dealer. Search intent for aion 2 sorcerer build often asks for a “Hellfire” fire burst setup, stigma choices and Daevanion nodes.
What we can state without inventing a rotation:
- Role: ranged magic DPS with fire damage tools and frost control options in community skill lists.
- Weapon: spellbook.
- Hellfire appears in Global client skill data as a Sorcerer active fire skill (charge levels, multi-target fire damage, learned mid-leveling). Exact damage formulas and specializations change with skill level and patch — read the in-game tooltip; do not treat a website number as permanent.
- Build loop: raise core fire Mastery skills and the control tools you actually use → specializations that match mobility vs burst → Stigma set for the content (AoE farming vs boss hold vs PvP peel).
- Soft constraint: no fabricated Hellfire rotation or stigma tier list on this page. Verify charge timing and specializations in your client after every balance pass.
Assassin build focus (melee DPS)
Assassin is the melee burst / stealth-oriented DPS (dagger). The term aion 2 assassin build was not marked 值得做; we only cover it as a short role card inside this hub so Cleric/Sorcerer readers see the full DPS neighbourhood.
- Role: single-target melee burst and approach tools.
- Weapon: dagger.
- Same Mastery / Stigma / specialization rules as every other class.
- We do not publish opener macros or “hidden” stigma combos here.
Honest meta disclaimer
Global launch was October 5, 2026. Class-care patches on regional services (and Global’s own schedule) regularly retune heal throughput, stigma cooldowns and DPS charge skills. Any build page that promises a permanent best loadout is lying. Use this hub for systems literacy, then:
- Open the skill book in-game.
- Read the latest NC / PURPLE Lounge class notice.
- Ask your legion what stigmas they actually run this week.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AION 2 Cleric build right now?
There is no permanent best build. Start from Cleric’s healer role: raise core Mastery heals/cleanses, open Stigma slots from level 22 onward, and re-check stigmas after each NC class-care patch. We do not publish fabricated rotations or stigma tier lists — verify tooltips in your client.
What is the best AION 2 Sorcerer build (Hellfire)?
Hellfire is a Sorcerer fire active skill in Global client data, but coefficients and specializations change with patches. Build around ranged magic DPS: Mastery fire skills + the control tools you use, then Stigmas for your content. Re-read in-game tooltips instead of copying an outdated rotation.
How do Stigmas work in AION 2?
Per NC’s October 5, 2026 beginner skill guide: Stigmas are class-defining skills. Some Stigma Points come from leveling; more from Stigma Shards. They are separate from Mastery Skill Points (which reset free). Confirm slot unlock levels in your client.
How many classes does AION 2 have on Global?
Eight: Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric and Chanter. Brawler exists on Korea/Taiwan services but is not in the Global roster.
